AE 481/482 Reflection

This Penn State Senior Thesis was an opportunity to demonstrate the education and experience gathered over the last 5 years in the Architectural Engineering program. Over the course of the 2015-2016 academic year, the Penn State Burrowes Building was analyzed in order to find areas in which the construction process, various systems, and key components (such as budget and schedule) could be optimized in a way that would better the project, the owner, and the construction industry. The Fall semester focused on the existing conditions of the structure and project, while the Spring semester allowed for redesigning of systems and analysis into alternative solutions.

CPEP Reflection

By tracking my progress throughout the year with CPEP, I was able to display my research and conclusions in a professional manner that can be accessed by anyone interested in the discoveries. Prior to this website, I had little web design experience, but it was a great opportunity and learning experience.
